One of three Marine helicopters on its way to the White House returning President Obama from Quincy, MA (via Andrews Air Force Base). The triplets flew over us during our first softball game of the season (which we won 20-12).

New — AWESOME — Last Airbender Trailer. Cannot wait until this comes out.
Wherein I take some hacks at a golf ball. I used to be very good at this activity.
Came across this while looking for something totally different. Reminds me of a “This is not art” poster I made WAY back in high school. More typography posters here: http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2008/02/25/breathtaking-typographic-posters/
One of this past weekend’s photos from my photo of the day project.
This is on the wall of a local bar called the Iron Horse. Predictably, it is a motorcycle themed bar and one I like very much.
For some reason my links aren’t working right, so here’s the full photo:

Went shooting with my brother and a friend for my birthday. Had a ton of fun blowing up some clays, and yes, we cleaned up our hulls.

Kind of impressed that I made it to photo 100. I thought a lot about what I wanted to do for this photo, but in the end I decided to keep doing what I’ve been doing: taking a photo every day. This didn’t come out exactly as I wanted it to, but it’s from our first soccer game of the season. Very happy to be playing soccer again.

One of the trails I ride is the W&OD Trail. This trail is actually an old rail line for the Washington & Old Dominion Rail Road, thus the name. Along the ride there are various rail road items like an old train car set up as a mini-museum and lots of signage giving you the trails history. This sign has always been one of my favorites, though I have no idea where that station actually is.
Been a few days since I’d posted the photo of the day here, but I’m very excited to have my bike back, so figured I had to share it. Here’s the full photo, and here’s the quote:
I got my bike back today. It had been a couple years since the bike had seen a “professional.” Most seasons I tinker and play with my bike. But this year I need everything cleaned, new breaks, new cords, and a new rear tire. So I got it back. Can’t wait to ride it.
